Welcome                         Life Saving & Life Changing

The Emergency Shelter of Northern Kentucky provides shelter to adults who are homeless.  We provide the basic life necessities (shelter, safety, food, clothing, showers and laundry) so that our guests will be able to move forward in life.  Along with the basics we provide hospitality and compassion by welcoming all regardless of their mental, physical or spiritual condition.  We are Northern Kentucky's only handicap accessible shelter and the only shelter which will take in people who are referred by the police or the emergency room in the middle of the night.

The Emergency Shelter of Northern Kentucky is the region's only cold weather shelter and this year we have experienced more below freezing days than last year.  Each and every night we take in those who have no where else to go.

Register Your Kroger Plus Card with ESNKY and Make a Donation without Spending a Dime!

Kroger is promoting a new community rewards program that aids in our shelter's fundraising.  If you shop at Kroger's and have a Kroger plus card --- a percentage of your purchases will come to our shelter on a quarterly basis.  You do not pay extra - it's a donation made from Krogers from your normal purchases.  We started asking volunteers and friends of our shelter to do this in May and as a result 27 people signed up.  We were blessed to receive a check in the mail for $501.00 so far. Sign up today!  If you need help, please call our shelter and ask to speak with Rachael Winters and she will walk you through the process.

Here are the steps:
1.  Have Your Kroger plus card in hand and go to  krogercommunityrewards.com
2.  Register your card by clicking on "sign up today" under New Customer
3.  Follow all the steps to register.
4.  Then go to my account, and look for Community Rewards section
5.  Choose the shelter - our number is 82763.
